A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Diana Verde Nieto is an entrepreneur, author, and a pioneering global leader in sustainability. Diana has 25 years of international experience founding and growing profitable businesses at the intersection of luxury, innovation, technology and sustainability. She co-founded Positive Luxury a sustainability collaboration platform that helps luxury companies adapt and transition to a new climate economy. Diana holds a degree in Global Leadership & Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School, and she has been trained by Former USA Vice President, Al Gore at the Alliance of Climate Protection and subsequently being honoured by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader. Diana is an advisor to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and a trustee of Nature Positive Trust
