A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Darci Vetter
Senior Vice President, Head of Global Public Policy, PepsiCo
As Senior Vice President, Head of Global Public Policy at PepsiCo, Darci Vetter leads the development of PepsiCo’s global policy positions and strategic engagement, leveraging her extensive experience in international trade, agriculture and environmental policy. Prior to joining PepsiCo in April 2023, Darci worked as Global Head, Policy and Government Relations at The Nature Conservancy. She was also Vice-Chair for Food, Agriculture and Trade at Edelman, a Diplomat in Residence at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and held the position of Chief Agricultural Negotiator at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative. Darci also served as Deputy Under Secretary of Agriculture and a member of the professional staff of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee.
