Guardians of Nature: Harnessing Indigenous Wisdom for Environmental Complexity

The session provides practical insights and strategies for incorporating Indigenous perspectives and expertise in policymaking and business planning.

By showcasing real-world examples and tangible outcomes from practitioners and Indigenous representatives from Canada, Ecuador, and Chad we aim to enhance collaboration between Indigenous communities, policymakers, and businesses for more effective environmental stewardship.

The discussion will address the complexities of integrating diverse knowledge systems, navigating political and cultural challenges, and finding common ground to foster effective and inclusive water and land management solutions.
