A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

A zero carbon pioneer and founder of O’right, Steven strives to build a green supply chain with the aim to become the first beauty company that has truly realized a carbon neutral world. O’right recently won the Sustainable Leadership Award at the Sustainable Beauty Awards in Paris and the Good Design Gold Award of Japan for its revolutionary toothpaste design. In 2020, despite being an SME, O’right joined the global initiative RE100, becoming one of the top 15 green leaders including Apple, Chanel and TSMC to commit to using 100% renewable power.
Steven Ko was also invited as a keynote speaker at the APEC Sustainability Summit and COP25, where he urged companies to verify their product carbon footprint, develop carbon reduction strategies and realize carbon neutrality in order to combat climate change.
