A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

With a background in natural capital and environmental management, Eva is an experienced leader, facilitator, speaker, writer and media spokesperson who has led Business for Nature since 2019.
Business for Nature brings together business and conservation organizations and forward-thinking companies to amplify a powerful leading business voice calling for governments to adopt policies now to reverse nature loss this decade.
Prior to joining Business for Nature, Eva spent 15 years leading multiple projects at the at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). This included work on natural, social and human capital measurement and valuation for business decision-making, towards integrated performance management, and ultimately reporting for investors. She led the development of the Natural Capital Protocol as well as the establishment of the Social and Human Capital Coalition, both of which now sit under the leadership of the Capitals Coalition.
