A new key biodiversity platform for cross sectoral collaboration
For its inaugural launch, World Biodiversity Summit will help define what world leaders and the private sector in biodiversity and climate action need to do in the medium and long term to achieve sustainable development and hinder further biodiversity loss, focusing on partnerships and investment mechanisms as levers of progress. World Biodiversity Summit is a platform for responding to accelerating biodiversity loss, by using the Paris Agreement as a framework to learn from, promoting relevant solutions, innovations, and leadership networks, strengthening nature restoration and conservation. Nature-based solutions will be highlighted, from specificecosystems to global possibilities.

Back to Basics
- Advancing Sustainable Agriculture and Resilient Food Systems
In pursuit of a food system that ensures universal access to healthy and nutritious food, we must step back
and recognise the potential of approaches that harness the complexity of our planet’s natural resources. This
alternative path not only nourishes our growing population with diverse and high-quality food but also offers a transformative approach to re-establish harmony with nature and prioritize biodiversity. A collective effort holds the potential to combat climate change, land degradation and biodiversity loss.
This session will define regenerative practices and how they can serve as a solution, exploring solutions across policy, technology and finance that can allow us to restore the delicate balance between human activity and the natural world.
